December 2011: Across the USA weather systems are potentially snarling
holiday air travel plans with delays. Issues ranging from high winds on
Friday affecting flights headed to and leaving Newark, New Jersey and New
York's LaGuardia airport, according to the FAA. The snow could pose a
problem in Minneapolis and is already on the ground in New Mexico where
interstate highways were forced to close, up to 8 inches of new snow is
forecast for elevations above 7,500 feet.
